What is a Campaign?
A Campaign is a way to organize your links. You can think of campaigns as a grouping structure to keep links related to the same part of your business grouped together.
You can add a link to a campaign on the link creation/edit page where you will see the campaign option.
👉Campaign are helpful because they show statistic data for a group of links. So you can measure your results, for example, using several pieces of creative content to promote a blog post. Or you can use this to measure total clicks to a certain affiliate link you create multiple pieces of content to promote. Another example could me "YouTube Description" where you put all your links in your YouTube descriptions so you can get a feel for how many clicks you are generating from your YouTube videos.
Those are just some ideas. If you have other great ideas, feel free to share with our team😁
Under the campaign tab, you can see the metrics for the aggregate of all the metrics and shortlinks grouped under that particular campaign.
The metric categories are:
Clicks <= Total raw clicks
Unique Clicks <= Total clicks counting one per IP address only
Conversions <= Number of times somebody clicks on your CTA overlay
Conversion Rate <= Conversion rate is conversions divided by unique clicks.
We consider a click on your CTA overlay a conversion - this is an interaction with your CTA or ad that would not have happened if you were not using Linkalytics.io and our unique feature set.
